I feel old but I know that I'm not. I need to be distracted from this feeling. Ah, a fresh pile of gradable Arithmancy papers looks quite welcoming...but then again, if something more tempting were to present itself (hint hint to a certain someone), then I can always do them tomorrow. Keep my students on their toes, as it were. A delay in returning their homework would keep them focused for the next lesson.

I love Halloween. It's like the blessed day for sugar rush and cavities. Plus Honeydukes goes on sale! I already have half a year's supply of Sugar Quills! And of course there are the Bertie Botts, Acid Pops, Jelly Slugs and Chocolate Frogs, can't forget those! I just love Sugar Quills more.

Well, we got rid of all left over foods, the roof's somewhat patched up, we have our own little shower room for the long nights and even a cot in the corner. I think I should just move into the school and live there. It's big enough anyway.

Sooo...a year (and a day) older now. Wow. I still feel like nothing's changed since I was 17. Well, all except for the fact that I'm much more sleep-deprived and actually working as a teacher now...and I'm singleI've got wonderful nephews, one niece on the way, a sister-in-law and...I've got a nice hot chocolate maker from Great-great-uncle Maynard.
Thanks for the gifts and I promise to send "Thank you" notes soon.

It's been a while since I did a sketch. Think I'm getting rusty. Anywho, I did this when Dorcas and I went out for dinner that one time. The waitress's name was Samara. I thought that was a pretty name. She had an interesting face. It was so calm, considering it was a busy night too.
